Suggested Training Schedule for Cross Country Touring Week 10 is used as a trial run for the tour. It can be unsupported or with support if support is available. Pick a campground approximately 50 miles from the starting point. Spend Saturday, bike riding to the location, setting up camp and checking over equipment. Bike ride back on Sunday. Keep a small notepad with you, entering items as you go... such as "Don't forget the sunscreen next time" or "Do I really need to carry five pairs of riding shorts on a two day outing?".
